Yesterday my Inspire 2 iphone app was showing way more calories than I'd entered in MFP, and when I logged onto the FitBit web portal it showed FitBit had registered my breakfast total from MFP three times. Today, something even more odd. My breakfast registered fine, but my lunch--which had 4 individual items entered--showed up as 4 separate meals, each including then adding onto the previous. For example: the first MFP item (rice) showed as an individual meal in FitBit; the 2nd MFP item (chicken) showed on FitBit as an individual meal, but with the calories for rice AND chicken; and the 3rd and 4th MFP entries followed that same "stair step" addition pattern as they registered with FitBit. Any idea what's going on?

I'm having a similar issue, except that I'm using a Fitbit Sense on a Pixel (Android) phone. Yesterday some dinner entries appeared to have been doubled on the Fitbit side (while still showing correctly on the MFP side). Today it seems to have happened with some of the breakfast entries. In both cases, it wasn't a strict doubling of the entire meal, but rather it seemed that some entries somehow got added twice in the Fitbit. I couldn't figure out how exactly the math went wrong, so I've had to just use the MyFitnessPal calories to determine my accurate calorie balance.
I went into the MFP app and tried to Disconnect from Fitbit multiple times, but clicking that option does nothing, and takes me right back to the prior screen, where I can Disconnect a dozen more times without anything changing. I also did a force stop of the MFP app, and that didn't help. Seems like it might be on the MFP side - but since everything's working just fine on that side, it's hard to tell, and very frustrating.

It's very weird. Mine is still having the issue, but only sometimes. It was fine for the last 2 days and is doing it again today... One trick I did find that might help in the meantime @fitster8 is that you can go into the calories dashboard on the web (rather than the app) and delete duplicates there, which then will also correct on the app...
But still frustrating to have to do that...
