Inspire 2 heart rate data not showing in Strava

Hi,

I'd like my Inspire 2 heart rate data to show on my Strava when I record a workout on Strava. Both accounts are synced and GPS is enabled on my fitbit. What am I doing wrong?

Also when I export the TCX file from the fitbit website it creates a 1kb file with some xml in it rather than any data.

Any help would be appreciated as I only bought the fitbit to get HR data into Strava.

Hi @skatingchef, welcome to the Community Forums. @coreman thanks for your input.

@skatingchef thanks for the details shared on your post. The heart rate data needs to be synced before ending a GPS activity for it to send to Strava. Keep in mind that only GPS tracked activities will sync between Fitbit and Strava. You can find more about this integration in this post

I'll be around.

Thanks for the response. So just so I'm clear are these the sequence of
events?

1. Start fitbit GPS
2. Start Strava ride
3. Finish Strava ride
4. Leave Strava to calculate activity
5. Finish fitbit GPS

?

Thanks
Mark

Nope.

The only possibility to have your HR recorded and sent to Strava is to track your session directly from your Inspire 2 via exercise function. Recording separately the Strava session and/or the GPS session via Fitbit app won't have the HR embedded even if you wear your Inspire 2.

Why? Don't ask.
