Hi Guys,
Really sorry about having to post this although it seems to be a case where there is too much information and I am confusing myself.
I have an Ionic and I have MFP. I log all my food on MFP and all my exercises through the Ionic.
Am I doing it right? I have amended my Fitbit calories as per this post.
The calorie amount is right (1,840) although MFP seems to be giving me more calories to eat as I earned calories through exercise. The Fitbit dashboard has not? Fitbit says that I have 933 calories out of my 1.840 allowance still allowed while MFP says I have 1361, why hasn't my exercises taken my allowable calories into consideration on the Fitbit Dashboard?
I followed the above post to sync the calories that MFP suggests so that my Fitbit Dashboard shows the same although I am worried that I may be missing something. I am predicting that towards the end of the day my Fitbit Dashboard will be telling me I have gone over my allowance whereas MFP will tell me I am below my intake.

Hello @Gerh.
Thanks for sharing those screenshots and those details on the matter. I'll be happy to help you on the matter.
The first thing I'd like to ask is how the situation has continued and how you the details have matched up at the end of the day.
Look forward to your reply.

I have the same issue.. At the end of the day Saturday, MFP told me I was 35 calories under my "allowed intake", whilst the fitbit app tells me I'm 309 calories over.. I did not work out that day, only walked, and the steps are the same in the two apps. To me, it seems they are using different calculations, but where is the difference, and which calculation is the most reliable??

I have followed the instruction on how to connect my Strava account, but have hit an impasse. When I go to My apps> Strava > settings and press authorize I get a spinning circle then nothing. The Authorization state is: Not Authorized. Account: N/A and it's blank under Strava login. When I go to Applications > Settings on fitbit.com it shows Strava as authorizedit also shows as connected on my Strava app. Any ideas on this?

Mine started to do the same thing. It was syncing fine until recently, now it doesnt. Its done that in the past and recovered after resetting the permissions via my iphone. Didnt work this time, now the Authorization state is "Not authorized".
Trying to link from my iPhone app didnt work, the browser wants to send me back to the Fitbit app, which appears to do nothing.
I went to www.strava.fitbit.com and re-linked the accounts, which now show up as linked on the fitbit website dashboard settings, but Strava still doesnt sync to the Ionic, and doesnt show as authorized on the iphone ap.
I also uninstalled Strava from the Ionic using the iphone ap, rebooted the ionic and reinstalled Strava on it, but its still saying unauthorized even though the desktop app says it is. Despite all that any recent runs recorded on the Ionic have synced over and shown up in the Strava app and website, they just are not updating on the Ionic Strava app. It will be interesting to see if that still holds true later tonight.
Mind you, the connectivity has dropped in and out a few times in the past and then returned after a reboot (or just the passing of time), so maybe it will come back to life. If not I can live without it, but sometimes its nice to compare runs on the Fitbit, without having to use Strava on my phone or notebook. Im resigned that stuff like this is just one of the joys of Ionic userdom. Its the hope that fitbit will actually iron out these issues that kills you:)

I have an Alta and I'm having exactly the same issue with MFP, it always gives me more calories than the FB app. It's always been this way for the two months I've had both. Usually the discrepancy is only about 100 calories, but today I worked out and the difference is 400 (MFP says I have 400 left, FB says I have 1 left).

Im having the same issue. with being unable to connect to strava through my ionic. though i am wondering if its because of the most recent update. on my iphone it does the same thing other people mentioned of opening safari then bouncing back to the fitbit app after i log into strava and getting it permissions. but it doesn't actually change anything on the fitbit side.

Hello everyone.
I apologize for the delay in my response.
Please try to follow the steps listed in this help article to disconnect the apps and then connect them once again. That should definitely help so that the integrations sync properly again. If you have already tried that and you are still experiencing issues, please let me know.
If disconnecting and reconnecting didn't work, please answer these questions:
Look forward to your replies.
