Is MyFitnessPal double counting exercise on my Fitbit app?

I have an IPhone and a Fitbit Blaze and use both the Fitbit and MyFitnessPal apps which are also synced.  Recently I have noticed exercise entries showing up in my Fitbit app labelled "Bodyweight Training (MyFitnessPal)" which sometimes seem to almost be identical to Fitstar workouts (calories identical, duration the same, but times completely different) I did and other times sometimes correspond somewhat closely to walking or other activity I have done.  Does anyone know where these entries are coming from and am I double counting activity calories?  I am thinking I should delete them but there is associated heart rate information with the entries which makes me wonder whether they are legit?  I only record exercise with my Fitbit and app and record food calories on MyFitnessPal.

Hello @JTC2017, good to see you have joined to our Fitbit Community. Always its nice to have new faces around. I was reading your post and I think is your Fitstar and MFP account creating this duplicate entries.

I been testing with my own accounts so make sure you have linked only your Fitbit account with MFP and Fitstar with your Fitbit account.

My theory here is: when you do a workout session in Fitstar, this is shared with your Fitbit account. However since Fitstar is linked with your MFP account, it shares the same exercise here too, hence MFP shares the exercise at a different time under your Fitbit exercise history as well, but with the same results that Fitstar already uploaded, causing duplicate entries on your numbers

To review this, go to your Fitstar account under your settings options. Search for the Connected Accounts and disconnect your MFP account. Rest assure by doing this, you wont interrupt the integration of your Fitbit account with MFP.

I'm sure by doing this you will resolved this issue.

Keep me posted how it goes, I'll be around if you need more help.
