Issues syncing to My fitness pal and Flex 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have the 2 accounts synced. I was getting frustrated that my fitbit account wasn't registering some of my workouts on the dashboard (steps, distance, etc are registering). I went to My Fitness Pal to add the workouts that werent there and it's showing the workout has synced from fitbit! If it's syncing to another app, how can I make it show up on my dashboard. Only 2 of my 4 workouts this week are showing up on my fitbit dash.

Thanks

Hello @EmmyE, it's nice to have new faces around the Fitbit Community!

I have some doubts about the issue you are experiencing. I'm wondering what accounts you are referring when you mentioned you have two accounts? I'm assuming Myfitnesspal account and your Fitbit account, but I'm not sure, so I would like to clarify this.

Also what type of exercise are you doing? Where is not showing your exercise, is it in your Fitbit Dashboard or MFP? You also made mention if it is syncing to another app, I'm wondering which app is this?

Speaking generally about the integration of MFP and Fitbit note that certain information will be shared, as not all the information syncs whit third party integrations. If you are logging your exercise in MFP this will appear on your Fitbit Dashboard as a manual activity on your exercise section. For more information of what information is synced please refer to this post.

Depending of the nature of your exercise logged in your Fitbit Dashboard, this should be shared with your MFP account too. So in the meantime I recommend to make sure your tracker is syncing successfully.

I would like to have a better understanding of the issue you mentioned, but if you have noticed your information is not being shared with your accounts the best to do is to revoke the access and reconnect again to refresh the link between MFP and Fitbit. Please review the following post for this purpose for more instructions.

I'll be looking forward to your response and let me know how it goes!

I have MFP and fitbit synced.
An example. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I worked out. 3 of those
days were jogging. But when I look at my fitbit dashboard it says I only
exeecised 1 day. It actually mistook my lifting and cleaning at work as
cycling, but it registered. Tuesday was weight training so I entered that
in MFP and it then synced into my fitbit dashboard showing 2 days with
workouts. I went into Thursday in MFP to do the same and it was already
there in MFP with the fitbit symbol showing it used info synced from
fitbit. So MFP used the fitbit info to sync the activity, but the fitbit
dash board doesn't recognize it and if I click on the days with activity in
the dashboard Thursday and Friday are not listed.
