Absurd that there is not a functioning Fitbit app for *all* Kindle Fires.

Hello @SteveInRaleigh, good to see you stay in contact with the Fitbit Community. The Kindle fire at the moment is not compatible according to our List of Compatible Devices

Our teams have been eager to get support out as quickly as possible for a wider variety of mobile devices, However while many devices have a Bluetooth 4.0 chip, not all devices are able to be accessed by apps like the Fitbit App.

Thank you for your feedback!

Wow! I wish I had found that out before I got a  fit bit. I am  dissatisfied with this.

Today I just successfully sync'ed my FB Blaze through my Kindle Fire HD * tablet (6th generation, bought last October).  My original attempt to sync shortly after buying the KF didn't succeed, so I didn't really pursue it.  Tonight's sync attempt was just to see if it would do it now: success!

Hello @TMerrick and @Amy6 let me give you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community.

Despite the Kindle Fire is not supported, it has a version of Android which is a platform where it can works with the Fitbit app. However as you experienced with the syncing process, we cannot guarantee it wont present issue with the app since the platform is not officially supported.

If you have additional questions, just let me know.
