Lifesum app no longer connecting to Fitbit app

I'm a returning user who used to (last year) connect Lifesum app and Fitbit app to sync my Fitbit activity data, which worked well.

Now when I try to connect Lifesum app, although I can progress right through the setup process and Fitbit website says I'm connected, it actually does nothing, they don't connect.

I also see many reports on these pages of other third party apps with connection problems.....

Connect the dots folks..... Fitbit are up to something!

Lots of other third party apps don't all fail to work with Fitbit at the same time for no reason!

Something significant has been changed. Could this coincide with the mysterious appearance of " Google Health Connect by Android" app on Google Play?

The plot thickens.... Just maybe someone can shed some light on the mystery?

Please explain how do I revoke access when access was never set up in the first place? Clearly you missed the point of my original post. The issue is simple Lifesum is trying to setup the connection, but Fitbit isn't accepting it (where previously it accepted and connected), that sounds like a Fitbit issue or choice to me.
