Linking to MindBody

I just linked my fitbit to my MindBody account, and just assumed that anything I booked would then show up as activity on by fitbit but that does not happen.  I am getting fitbit data in my MindyBody account, so I know it connected properly, but why would I care if MindBody has heart rate info?  The whole point - to me - was to stop having to manually enter all my classes that fitbit can't seem to find.

Hello @DebCRobH, welcome aboard to the Fitbit. MindBody does not figure among the supported third party apps. Saying this doesn't mean it won't work but many of the third party integrations are not developed by us and we don't have the control over this data or how it will be interpreted by these services.

The best to do in this cases is to contact the support of MindBody to learn more how and what information is going to sync. Take as example other third party apps, note that not all the information is shared across your accounts.

For more questions about third party apps please visit: Third Party Apps - FAQ.

Hope this helps and for more questions please let me know.

I have the same problem. Fitbit thinks I did nothing for 45 minutes, mindbody shows me working out. I cant get credit in fitbit for classes on past days as it only lets me add classes for the present day.

Why would anyone want a fitness tracker that doesn't register your exercise automatically via movement, or automatically via mindbody, or even manually for past days?

Forgot that run you did on Tuesday? Too bad. Go back to using a notebook or convert to mindbody and a different brand of tracker. Just throw your Fitbit away.

Do you know if they have found a way to make it automatically pickup classes from MINDBODY in Fitbit? I take several classes and assumed it was picking them up automatically but, like you, it shows nothing! What’s the point of syncing them if you have to use two apps or remember to add manually?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Aucircle.

If both accounts are already connected, you can try revoking the access by going to your online dashboard on fitbit.com and clicking on the gear icon > Settings > Applications > Revoke Access and then try to connect both account (Mindbody and Fitbit) from the Mindbody app and check if this solves the syncing issue.

Hope this helps.
