Logging exercise with my fitness pal or my Fitbit charge hr?

Should I log in my exercise on MFP if I am using a Fitbit charge HR? Coz MFP asked to log all the food and exercise from MFP only but not from Fitbit, otherwise the information will be duplicated. But I found that when I use my charge hr to monitor my workouts(let say I did a bodycombat class from 1pm to 2pm, and press the bottom before and after the class for mointoring), the calories burns will show on dashboard automatically. After I logged my workout again on MFP(chose exercise bodycombat from the list), the dashboard on Fitbit will show two workout for the same period(1pm to 2pm). One is from workout counted from Fitbit and the other one from the sync from MFP.
I don't know if the calories burnt would be doubled and makes the calculation inaccurate.
Thanks!!

Pick a logging mechanism and use that one. Ideally, Fitbit should recognize the duplicate activities but if the times don't line up (e.g. MFP records by the minute while Fitbit tracks to the second I believe) then you'll get duplicate activities. You can always tracks via Fitbit and MFP but you should delete one of the activities in your log.

MFP uses "Fitbit calorie adjustments" to account for differences in estimated calorie burns. You won't see actual activities from Fitbit. I really only use MFP as an intermediary between Runkeeper and Fitbit and for logging food.
