Logging out of Fitbit account on Peloton

I have a Peloton bike that I linked to my Fitbit Charge 3, but because I was unable to delete an old device from that account (tried multiple ways and looked for answers everywhere) I decided to create a new account so that it would stop trying to track information from a device that does not exist.

Long story short, when I go into my Fitbit dashboard and look for the Peloton app so I can logout, it does not show Peloton as an authorized device. Also, when I go to the Peloton bike itself, there is not an option to log out of the current Fitbit account. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forums @driscollkidd.

Thanks for bringing this up.

Given that these integrations are developed by the third parties, I'd recommend trying to get in touch with Peloton directly. They should be able to help you figure out what is going on.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

On the peloton, go to settings, then social then uncheck the box that says "automatically post my workouts".

Hi there @Tashh21. Welcome to Community Forums.

I appreciate the information shared, I'm sure this information will help many users.

I'd recommend you follow the instructions on How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?. Also verify you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device as well.

Some users usually find it useful to unpair and then pair both apps again to refresh the performance, if you already have them paired.

Hope this helps.
