LoseIt and Fitbit websites sync?

My issue is

1) fitbit app won't work on my older iphone4 (I understand it's not supported).  So I put the app on my windows laptop

2) Loseit app won't work on my windows laptop (not supported).  But I can run it on my iphone4.

 

So Iphone 4 has Loseit and it updates to the loseit website. 

Windows laptop has fitbit app and it updates to the fitbit website.

 

Question:  Should the two programs still be able to sync via their websites and send the updates to the apps?

Yes, the connection is done between the servers of the two apps, not from the devices.
