I am entering my food into Loseit and it doesn't always sync correctly to Fitbit. Sometimes some items won't transfer over and sometimes the total calories for that section (lunch, dinner, etc.) will be off. Has anyone had similar experiences? I really don't want to be micro-managing and double checking my food entries again on Fitbit.
I had this same problem - there was about a 300 calorie discrepancy. I posted here and got a stock response to "change your settings" which I did, but that didn't help. In the end I just only count the calories in LoseIt that I am allowed in fitbit, even if that means I am actually eating more (not much more, I do want to lose weight after all). At the end of the week LoseIt tells me I'm below my weekly allowable calories by 3000-3500.
Best AnswerI don't even look at my fitbit food log anymore. I log food in LoseIt only. Exercise goes into the Fitbit and syncs to LoseIt, but I don't care if food syncs back from Loseit to FItbit, because I only look at my Loseit food log now.

Colin, that's how I enter my data:
But I am having trouble with the weight data syncing in either direction, despite it working the first time I hooked them up. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Some-LoseIt-data-syncs-but-not-others/m-p/1...
Best AnswerHonestly I had stopped paying attention to the food part on FitBit but it does appear to be synching correctly now. Cool!
Best Answeryea, that happens to me to. I had success with settings a while ago, but now its confusing me again. its saying my food goal is 800 in loseit..arg
Best AnswerYup, I got it sorted and by do I feel foolish. Turns out the problem was that I had my rate of weight loss was not the same in both apps (how could I have missed this!) So embarassed...
