MFP says "connected already on another account"

MyFitnessPal & fitbit have always been synced - couldn't find my charger for fitbit for ages, finally found it and ready to go again however it won't sync them. It says that it's connected already on another account - I don't have another account. I have gone onto both on the desktop to 'disconnect' - my Fitbit says it's not connected to any Apps but MyFitnessPal says it's connected to Fitbit! Super confused. Any help/advise would be great.

@lauracharlotte Welcome to the Community. I'm glad to hear that you found your charging cable and you're back at using Fitbit. 

 

I would like you to confirm you're doing this procedure to unlink Fitbit from MyFitnessPal. Before linking both accounts again, please check that MFP isn't showing Fitbit as connected and check Fitbit too.
