Manual Laps Not Shown on Strava

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've been using manual laps lately for hill training, and they show on my run stats in the Fitbit app, but not in Strava. All I get on there is mile splits. Is there anything I can do to change this? I currently take a screen shot and add it to Strava as a photo - seems ridiculous when the data is there to be transfered. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hello @SaraJayne.

Thanks for bringing this up and letting us know that you are uploading to Strava as a picture.

This is happening because activities that do not include GPS data are not synced over to Strava. It could be that the laps you mentioned do not include GPS data and so they do not sync.

If that is not the case, please let me know so that we can look towards other possibilities.

Hi, thanks for your reply. The activities do include GPS data - the map uploads to Strava as normal. The only difference is the splits are shown as laps on the fitbit app but as miles on Strava.

Hello @SaraJayne.

Thanks for getting back to me with those details.

It could be related to the way Strava takes information from Fitbit. Perhaps you could try getting in touch with Strava directly and ask if this is the way they process those details that are taken from your account.

Let me know if you have any questions.
