@Muzz Welcome to the Fitbit Community! The data that will sync from the Fitbit app to MapMyWalk is distance covered and calories burned. Data from MapMyWalk will not sync to the Fitbit app. The heart rate data will be only visible on your Fitbit tracker and app/dashboard. Surge will give you an accurate heart rate data. Feel free to check the Heart Rate FAQs for more details on heart rate syncing.
