I've been having these issues since I got my charge HR. Yesterday it was really bugging me. Around midday I checked the watch, steps were around 4000, calories were about 1300 for the day. I then went for a long walk with the dog and took my steps up to just over 13000, synced my watch to my app to update the steps and my calories fell to 998. I then watched as my watch gradually took my calories burned back up to over 1000 as I was going housework, synced again and calories went back down to 998. Every time I sync, the calories on the watch fall. I initially chalked this up to the app being more accurate, taking account of my height and weight etc and and maybe the watch wasn't being as accurate, but the last week or so I looked back at previous days and have realised that once the app gets to midnight, it then adds hundreds of calories burned to my day. For example, last night I go to bed at 10.30 and the watch and app both say I've only burned 1291 calories for the day - which I know is wrong. I've walked 20189 steps and climbed 102 flights of stairs. I wake up this morning and it now says that I've burned 2428 calories yesterday. I'm making sure to sync regularly, but every time I do it actually knocks calories off what I've supposedly already burned and then adds them all back on at midnight which leads to my other problem.
I'm also using MyFitnessPal and I've connected my fitbit to the app. It's supposed to make calorie adjustments based on the calories burned on the fitbit but because it takes it's last sync reading at around 11.30pm (no idea why this is - can't find a way to change this manually) most days it NEVER reads the right amount of calories and therefore makes no adjustment.

@SuzeeQ85 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
It's pretty weird that your calories burned are changing after you sync at midnight. The calories burned are going to change in MFP depending how often you sync your Fitbit Charge HR, please check this article to learn more about the Fitbit calorie Adjustment.
If you have but your calories burned are still not tracking properly, please unlink both accounts and link them again.
Let me know how it goes.

I’m having the same exact issue and I’m ready to throw out my Fitbit.. no matter how many times I sync, my steps update, but the calories don’t take my activity into count, it’s just calories burned from living that it shows.. then all the sudden at midnight there’s a HUGE jump in calories burned.. it’s affecting my mfp aswell..
