My work is providing everyone with fitbits. However, I don't want to wear two things on my wrist. We're supposed to participate in challenges and I don't know how to get my data from Moto Body into the fitbit site.
I saw the post about Moto Body and fitbit from December. Has there been any updates on this?
There should be some way to be a part of challenges even without a fitbit if your work or insurance is making you do it. The fitbit app doesn't count steps on my phone either, so i can't use that as an alternative. (Note 5)
It's really frustrating that fitbit is making this difficult.

I don't see that fitbit is making it difficult.
They offer a challenges feature to those people who use fitbits. If you don't use a fitbit then it's not available.
It may be possible to get your steps into fitbit from another source but this won't do any good as only steps directly tracked by a fitbit count towards challenges. I guess this is there to stop people cheating but it also makes it impossible to do what you want to do.

Is your work allowing you to choose which Fitbit to get? You might be happier with the Fitbit One. You wear it in your pocket or clipped to your body somewhere. It is very accurate. You can participate in Challenges using the One.

hi steve - if i wanted a fitibt, i would have bought one. however, when your workplace or insurance company asks that you participate in challenges, it IS difficult bc fitbit does not work with other devices. there should be some way to verify a user in this scenario because it's becoming increasingly common.

Hello @mollycase, welcome to our community. In this case the best choice is as @Julia_G, mentioned before. The Fitbit One will be a good option to track your information without wearing any tracker on your wrist. Otherwise, just like @SteveH said; the challenges in the Fitbit app are excessively if you use a Fitbit trackers or MobileTrack which is a feature of iOS that use your phone as a tracker. But as I can see you are using Android platform where this feature is not available. I'm agree with you there should be an option for this type of scenarios although in some cases, the company or insurance program provide trackers for this purposes.
There has been a discussion a while ago about the integration of Moto Body but as you probably know, the information is not syncing as it should between the Fitbit app and Moto Body. Which require an update in the API from this third party integration and so far I haven't received any recent update about this.
Let us know if you were able to change the type of your tracker, see you around.
