Multiple Exercise Entries - Fitbit, MFP, Mapmyfitness

I get duplicate exercise entries on my fitbit (app and on computer).  After every exercise I have to delete the duplicate so that it does not overestimate my calorie burn.

I have the following linked, Mapmyfitness, MFP, and Fitbit.  I record my exercise in mapmyfitness if I record it.  If it was already done, I log it in MFP.  I only log my food in MFP.  I do not log anything in Fitbit.  Mapmyfitness and MFP only show one exercise completed.  Fitbit will show two or three.  I have tried unlinking Mapmyfitness to MFP (nothing would log) and unlinking Mapmyfitness to Fitbit (nothing would log).  Any suggestions?

@rain_girl It's nice to see you around! This was an issue before but it's now resolved. I would like you to try this troubleshooting, you shouldn't be getting duplicate entries because MapMyFitness doesn't sync data to Fitbit just MFP syncs activities and food to Fitbit.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you! I will try this.  I have looked through the posts but I couldn't find an answer to my problem.  I have now seen that when I delete the duplicate in fitbit it deletes everything so its either way over on calories burned or shows none.  Its shows no exercise logged in about two weeks and I exercise daily so very difficult to track informaiton.  Hope this works.  Thanks again.

@rain_girl Thanks for those details! That's correct unfortunately when you delete the duplicate activity, the original one will be deleted as well. Give it a try to the troubleshoot and let me know.

I have cleared my cache and went out for a walk.  It has recorded twice in the fitbit.  So I should try clearing all data now?

@rain_girl Thanks! No, I would recommend posting the details that you're getting now in this thread because there's one of our Moderators investigating the issue.
