My Fitness Pal calorie count greatly reduced past several days.

My exercise totals have remained consistent in level of steps and active minutes, but my My Fitness Pal app the last few days has been showing little to no additional calories added to my total for the day for exercising.  My Fitness Pal has been no help in explaining why it would be showing me with a few hundred extra calories one day, but absolutely none (or a couple of dozen) the past several.  Are there sync issues with the One or MFP that others are having?   Any suggestions on how to make sure it's syncing properly or how to determine if the Fitbit says I've burned XXXX calories, how many MFP should have shown in my additional calories at the end of the day for comparison?

Thanks.

MFP registers the steps you are sending over. Are you getting the right number of steps?

Also, they both use the same BMR calculator, so you can check that to see your BMR (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/tools/bmr-calculator).

I also use MFP and haven't seen any issues, although the two didn't sync last night, so I had 2000+ steps in MFP instead of 10000+. I synced them this morning with no issue.

Hi @allsherote , I've had exactly the same problem over the last few days. I am fairly active throughtout the day and constantly on my feet/walking around throughtout the day. Over the last week or so although my activity level hasnt change the calorie adjustment on MFP has drastically reduced. Did you ever find an answer/resolution to your query?

Thanks

No, they just kept telling me how it works. Then it seemed to fix itself and go back to normal.

I also encountered a change in calorie counting.

You can find it here -https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/MFP-need-help-how-to-interpret-Fitbit-calor...

Is this problem somehow similar to yours?

Seems like MFP has stopped syncing manually added exercises back to Fitbit - last exercise synced "back" to Fitbit was a Kettlebellse exercise on Friday last week...

Hello Fitbitters!  Did you already tried to unlink and relink the Fitbit and MFP accounts?
