Is there any way to have fitbit "pull" the food data from My fitness Pal and NOT send over the exercise.
I do NOT want to correct for exercise because, at least for me, I find it to be inaccurate and I just want to eat my specified calories using the desired proportions of nutrients; callorie correction forces me to
Of course the MFP people have that figured out by charging you a monthly fee if all you want to do is turn off the exercise calorie correction.
. The correction throws things off. When I logged exercise in MFP I just waited until my last meal of the day then entered the exercise but synch is a continuous thing between the two so I can't do that.
The other option would be to log food in Fitbit but I don't know if you can turn of automatic correction there as well? MFP certainly seems to have an edge on the food database and ease of entry though.
Thanks for any insights-I did search but was overwhelmed with the number of topics

I suggested this to someone else, recently, too; I'm not sure if it will actually work, but it's worth a shot.
Under the settings in MFP, there's a menu for Steps. Under there, maybe it will stop adding the steps if you deselect Fitbit Tracker, maybe it will still sync with Fitbit but not import steps.

The adding steps was already disconnected. I decided to throw in the towel and try the premium to see if I considered it worth the money.
