My Fitness Pal won't connect to my new account

My fitbit was connected to my old myfitnesspal account, but I disconnected it today and deleted the account.  I also revoked access from fitbit.  It still says that my fitbit is linked to another account even though it is deleted.  I don't know what else to do.

Hello @jessicalanes and @AliciaW27, let me start by giving you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community.

I'm wondering if you are revoking the access from MyFitnessPal or directly from your application settings of your Fitbit account?

The best to try in these type of scenarios is to revoke the access from Fitbit.

When you have go though the previous steps and the issue still persists, It would be recommendable to review on MFP if the integrations still is not active. If it is, just press Disconnect.

Once the integrations has been revoked, go to http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps and look for the Fitbit app. Just make sure you are logged in to the new MFP account to proceed.

Hope this helps and for additional help please visit this post.

Hello, thank you for your reply!
I've done both of those things but am still being told 'there is already a Fitbit account connected to this one' - or something along those lines.
After a bit of research I have emailed MFP asking them to delete the connection in hope that works.
Thank you,
Alicia

Hello @AliciaW27, thank you for keep me updated, certainly this is an odd behavior after you have tried both ways to revoke the access between MFP and Fitbit.

From my end I can recommend to clear the cache of your web browser if you are on a computer. Directions on how to clear your cache on a variety of browsers can be found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache .

Don't forget to let me know if you are able to resolve this. I'll be around!

Thank you, it was all sorted when the MFP team deleted Fitbit from my account for me.
Then I was able to sync them properly and all is sorted 🙂
Thank you,
Alicia
