Hi

previously i used MFP and lost a stone in weight, this was mainly due to the food diary being so good. I have a fitbit charge 2 now which is much better at tracking exercise, which i'm now working on, i want to sync both apps So that i can use MFP food diary. Will any recorded exercise on MFP overwrite my fitbit info?

I've  not heard of and cant find any info on an app called My Fitness Planner do you mean Myfitnesspal?

If it was set up to your Fitbit account before, it should still be setup and work the way it did. The connection as you say is between the apps, and not your tracker.

Now if it is MyFitnessPal then see this post at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Third-Party-Apps-Informational-Post/m-p/144... for what syncs.

Thanks i did mean my fitness pal lol i don't want any info from MFP overriding info on my fitbit app. So if i input food on MFP will it transfer to fitbit app without transferring any exercise data?   Sorry if i'm not making sense 🤣

Did you follow the link i postted? Food and any events logged through Myfitnesspal will get transferred to fitbit.

So if a run is logged in fitbit and in MFP then it will be logged twice in fitbit.

Most peaple log food in MFP, steps wi5h Fitbit. Then use MFP to determine how much to eat.

Personally i did the basic - use Fitbit to make sure I'm moving more, and put less on the plate. In 6 months i loat 30 pounds. (2.1 Stone)
