Fitbit Update 2/18/19: According yo MyFitnessPal this issue looks to have been resolved. You can click here to read more about it.

This is MyFitnessPal's wording on the matter:

"Starting around 2:45pm PST on 2/12, we began receiving reports from members experiencing sync issues between Fitbit and MyFitnessPal. We believe the issue has since been resolved and the backlog we were working through has been cleared.

Syncing between Fitbit and MyFitnessPal should be back to normal now. If you see that some past data did not sync over, unfortunately this would be a side effect to the outage. If the issue continues on your account, please let us know."

Fitbit Update 2/14/19: Hey everyone -- We've received reports of issues with syncing on the MFP side. I'd like to let you all know that MyFitnessPal is aware of these issues and working to resolve them as quickly as possible. You can read more about it by clicking here. I will make sure to update everyone once this has been resolved on the MFP side to keep you all in the loop.

This is MyFitnessPal's wording on the matter:

"Starting around 2:45pm PST on 2/12, we began receiving reports from members experiencing sync issues between Fitbit and MyFitnessPal.  We investigated throughout Tuesday evening and have made some changes on our end.  Things have been in recovery throughout Wednesday, and members should be seeing sync start to function again (though it is not 100% back to normal yet).

We still have a large backlog of sync requests that our system is working through, so normal sync has not yet resumed.  At this time we do not recommend unlinking and relinking Fitbit. This will add to the backlog of requests and may prolong sync returning to normal.

We will continue to update this article as more information becomes available.  Please check back for further updates."

Yeah I seem to be having the same problem now and I revoked and then reconnected everything and it still won't sync. So I'm thinking maybe I'm just going to use the Fitbit food log for calories and get rid of MyFitnessPal.

App not syncing with my fitness pal today. Is there an issue? It did yesterday.  There was an iOS update last night on my phone.

I tried to disconnect the two and reconnect them and that did nothing. It's still having issues today. Not syncing together.

I still have not updated to 12.1.4 and MyFitnessPal stopped exchanging food information with Fitbit yesterday around mid-day.  My weight still goes from Fitbit to MyFitnessPal.

I had the same problem and have just checked the My Fitness pal website and it's an issue at their end.

They have been working on it and should all be working again soon.

Good to know! I was like why was it syncing and now I am not getting anything for my workouts. Frustrating but understandable.

Last updated on 2/18/19.

BTW the iOS app does not connect to MFP, but it is your Fitbit account that connects with MFP
