Update 6/27/2018: New details has been posted from behalf of MyFitnessPal staff. While this issue is under investigation they recommend to not unlink and relink the integration at the moment.

Since this is an interruption at the moment to sync, all Fitbit data for the day may be lost.

Yes, mine stopped again. This is beyond frustrating. I do not understand why they can't get this fixed and keep it fixed.

Best Answer

Not working again @RobertoME. Please get this fixed. What is the issue?????

Right?! Technology is as fickle as people.

@Kidperson30, I'm ready to switch to Fitbit to do it all....and just use MFP as a database reference I guess.

I like the nutrition tracking part of MFP. My hubby pays for the premium and his seems fine. I refuse. We shall see if it’s worth the headache to keep up with it.

Best Answer

How much does premium cost?  I agree, I really like the food tracking on MFP, too.

I think they were having a special and my hubby got it for $39.99 for the year. I’ve seen posts where people paid $49.99.

So your husbands premium account is syncing fine?

Yes. Husbands is syncing fine. Hope it’s not a ploy to get people to get the premium. I’m a tight wad when it comes to apps. I don’t like to be forced to pay.

Hi there fellows, thank you for reporting the issue still continue with MFP. Just to clarify, either if you are premium or free user in MFP, you should be able to sync.

My Fitness Pal has reported this issue resolved as back in June 19th. If you are still experiencing issues, try unlinking the connection from both sides (Fitbit and MFP) then link the accounts again.

If the issue still continue please, feel free to contact back MyFitnessPal for more details.

See you later.

No issues today, but issues yesterday. It’s been off and on. Done all of the unlinking and linking. As long as it resolves itself, I’m good.

Mine stopped syncing about halfway through the day today. It usually catches up eventually, but it's still really annoying.

Best Answer

Agreed. Same here today 🤨

Well, that explains why my calorie total for the day on MyFitnessPal is horrendous.  Usually the steps counteract them! 🤣🤣🤣

MFP reported this as an issue again yesterday @RobertoME. I am continuing to have intermittent problems despite continually unlinking and relinking.

This JUST started for me yesterday. To make matters worse, my pc app is showing 4k more steps than the mobile app. I have a phone that doesn't sync with Fitbit (Huwai Honor) so I sync with laptop. No probs there, but in afternoon, mobile app just stopped working period. Uninstall/reinstall does nothing. No integration with MFP but works fine integrating with other apps! I rely heavily on that integration.

I don’t use the info to counter my calories, but more so to know what I’ve burned. I am in weight loss mode, though.

Update:

Frustrating!
