MyFitnessPal double recording workouts in the Fitbit app

Whenever I complete a workout and record it via the Fitbit app, MyFitnessPal automatically adds in its own recording of the exercise to “my exercises” in the Fitbit app.

For example if I go for a run, afterwards I have 2 new exercises in the Fitbit app. 1 run recorded from the Fitbit, and another run that has (MyFitnessPal) next to its name. How do I get MyFitnessPal to stop doing this? I prefer to just record it in the Fitbit app.
