Fitbit Update: 6/26
Hello everyone!
We're aware of the syncing issues with MyFitnessPal. Your MFP data may not be syncing over to the Fitbit app at this time or delayed. MyFitnessPal is aware of the problem and working to resolve it. You can read more on their website here: Extended Sync, Server, and Fitbit Issues.

Update 7/26/2020: This issue is now resolved, please check this post for an update from MyFitnessPal. Thanks for your reports and patience.

Hello,
Despite a common sync issue being resolved in another thread, for me this problem is still there.
I have tried connecting/disconnecting the Fitbit app and MyFitnessPal numerous times. But no workout/calorie/step info pulls through from Fitbit to MyFitnessPal... and no food logs pull through from MyFitnessPal to the Fitbit app.
Actually there was ONE meal that pulled through two days ago (I’ve only had my Charge 3 for three days now). But after that one meal, nothing else pulled in or synced either way between the apps. I’ve checked the connection status and have synced on BOTH apps.
What could the problem be?

Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting. I noticed MyFitnessPal has been having some issues on their end, you may want to check out this thread on their website.

Ever since this morning (now 4pm Thurs 25/6 as I am in Australia) MyFitnessPal has not been syncing with Fitbit.
I have logged out of both apps, checked they are connected to each other and turned my phone off and on.. nothing has yet worked.
Having searched the forum I have seen other people have had similar issues recently.. perhaps it is my turn?

I‘ve had my Fitbit for about two months and I can already say that syncing issues with MFP are common. Most of the time there’s a delay, this is the second major disruption. MFP is the one that has to fix it.

MFP is broken ... again (http://status.underarmour.com/) I was thinking about subscribing to them a few times, but they have so many outages I can't see paying them.

Thanks for the update. I'll give it a day or two as suggested but I'm doubtful that it will work. The text notification that was an issue with one of the IOS updates is still not working on my versa.

Hello all. I’m wondering what is going on with this? I’m looking into this a year later as I am having the same issue. It’s been almost 7 hours and my fitness pal still hasn’t synced my calories to my Fitbit. Is there no other way to fix this besides waiting on the phone for customer service?

as of today (26/6/2020) my fitbit app is not registering any calories consumed which is entered via myfitnesspal.
Myfitnesspal has usually had some delay but it has never been like this before
I have revoked access and tried manually syncing and it's just not happening. I have searched the forums also to no avail
Is this a myfitnesspal issue? is there anything I can do? if it doesn't sync it almost defeats the entire purpose of it all! I would use fitbits tracker itself but I'm all set up on myfitnesspal and find it easier to log through that app

I am wondering if there are any known issues with syncing fitbit steps to MyFitnessPal? I had problems yesterday that resolved themselves and now today, none of my exercise has synced with MFP. I have an iPhone. Also, none of the food I have logged into MFP is transferring over the Fitbit.

I have Fitbit and Myfitnesspal apps.
Now I need to sync my Fitbit steps w/ MFP.
Not possible.
However in the evening I receive a notification ftom Fitbit to load the Fitbit app in the background and sync the app.
Then my Steps are sync.ed w/ MFP.
I have IOS12.4
Is this normal and works as designed?
or do I meed to research MFP for sync.ing?

From what I've seen on the MFP website, they're doing a step tracker maintenance today, which means that synchronization between any fitness tracker and MFP is going to be unavailable for a few hours! Hopefully it'll be resolved soon as it's really inconvenient.

i have never been able to connect The myfitness pal app with my Fitbit app. I’ve tried for months and still not working after raising a support ticket. Please can I ask for some assistance

I'm on Android and it was that way yesterday and today it has not synced any of my steps or data. I have disconnected my account and logged out. Waited a long time before reconnecting and trying again to no success. The link that they have on their help page shows that everything is perfectly fine but I don't think it is.
