MyFitnessPal is aware of an issue with its Fitbit integration. You can read more here.

Until this issue is resolved, you can expect these two platforms to not sync with one another. We will update this thread when they resolve this issue.

Per MFP's update:

The fitbit integration should now be recovering. While there will be a backlog of sync requests to work through, things should slowly be getting back to normal.

My mapped routes from MapMyRun and MapMyWalk wont sync to the fitbit app either since about April 11. Surely this all can't be a coincidence

Go into your settings through the web, then revoke access to MFP.

Now go to MFP and set the link up again.

@lytefall MMR and MMW ate basically the same program,  you only need one, since they both access the same accounts. Try the same thing.

If it still doesn't work then you will need to contact them, since they are resposable for the connection

I have already revoked privileges and reconnected twice. It doesn't work. In MMW it says it's connected to Fitbit and says it syncs after every workout but it never shows up in the Fitbit app.

Also I am having issues where the Fitbit won't use connected GPS either. Everything started at the same time.

yep, same here. I give up (again) on mfp. back to tracking food directly in the fitbit app for me. I did this last year for a few months because of similar issues than gave mfp a try again and it worked great for the past 6 or so months but the syncing is too unreliable for me anymore. shame because mfp is generally easier and better for tracking food, meals, recipes but I need to know that my steps are counting against my calories reliably.

I have my fit bit connected to my fitness pal and since I did the recent firmware update my calorie adjustments aren't working and my steps don't seem to be syncing. Any suggestions??

My FitBit has been synching with MyFitnessPal for as long as I've owned my Charge 2 (and the Charge HR before it)  Seems like this has been hose with this new Firmware update, or with the iOS 10.3.1 update, both of which were installed yesterday.  Help!

@mlrichards05 I have Android, and MFP is syncing TO Fitbit, but not the other way for me.

I also got the same problem after the recent firmware update of fitbit on 16 April, since then steps never sync to MFP again. But food log on mfp still syncs fine to fitbit. I raised the issue up on mfp community and they say they are investigating this on their end as a lot of people are experiencing it right now. However they also said we should check and raise this to fitbit side as well. I hope this is fixed because so annoyed can't get it syncs

Hello I update my charge 2 firmware update 22.22.53.4 on 16 April around 9 pm and since then fitbit steps never sync to mfp again. On mfp, the last sync icon shows that it keeps syncing but the data just won't update. The last info from fitbit on mfp was as of 15 Apr 12.59 am. However, food and drink log on mfp sync well with fitbit still. It seems only one link from fitbit to mfp(steps) that fail after this update.

I have tried all the advices possible. Revoke, reconnect, restart, both on computer and app but problem still persists.

A lot of people have raised problems over at mfp community as well and they are investigating yet they Said it seems to be from fitbit side so would be appreciate if you could do something to help!

I'm having the same issue and now my Charge HR won't pair to my phone either. VERY frustrated! I want my calorie adjustment on MFP, so had to fake a walk in there. lol

Fitbit and MFP are not syncing steps.  Everything is coming through (calories, exercise entries in MFP)....but the steps are not coming into MFP.  I even revoked the connection and reattached and still nothing changed with the steps.  In MFP...I see it say updating on the home screen and then it comes back still as 0 steps.  I'm not sure which end the problem is occurring on...MFP or Fitbit so mentioning in both help forums so hopefully someone can figure out what's happening.  For me, this started yesterday (4/16) and continues today.

Mine is doing the same thing.  It worked one day syncing accurately MFP with My Fitbit Charge 2 but then for the past two days the exercise is not showing on MFP.  It is counting calories accurately however on my Fitbit.

Same issue here. The exercise from MFP will sync to my FitBit, but not the reverse. I tried to disconnect/reconnect, reinstall the app, reset my device, etc. I even tried to sync my steps with my iPhone as the primary, instead, and that works fine.  MFP has this as an issue on their site; they said that we might need to contact FitBit for the troubleshoot. MFP says this has been an issue since Sat 4/15.
