Hi! Glad I finally joined the Fitbit Community!

Today I received my Blaze SE and Aria is on it's way! I just wanted to ask some guidance in the correct way of using my Fitbit with Endomondo and MyFitnessPal.

I made sure all the connections are syncing and I just went for my first run. This presented me with my first question

1. Do I log my run on my Fitbit Blaze AND Endomondo? Or either one? Endomondo has my interval training schedule and I really need the cue's. So what's the smart thing to do here?

After my run, I came back home to this report:

Does this look the way it should?

@SunsetRunner From the looks of it, you must have all these apps linked together because you have the same run logged 3 times.

I would actually disconnect MyFitnessPal and Endomondo from each other if I were you because Endomondo is sending your run to Fitbit AND to MyFitnessPal, which then MyFitnessPal takes that same run and sends it to Fitbit as well. That's how you end up with 3 of the same run.

The smart thing would be to pick one or the other for tracking, and since you said Endomondo has your interval training, then you might want to just log it there. Don't track the same activity with more than one device/app.

Thanks! I am anxious to see what Fitbit will do in the future to improve the user experience!

I've disconnected Endomdo from MyFitnessPal and vice versa.

Would love to see the functionally of those two apps in Fitbit for European (Dutch) users.

One platform to rule them all 😉

@AndrewFitbit Oh, how does SmartTrack interfere with this setup? Do I need to turn it off or what?

Of remove the Fitbit during this exercise?

@SunsetRunner SmartTrack is kind of like a back-up mechanism if you're not already tracking an exercise. So if you were tracking a run with Endomondo for example, and SmartTrack also detected the same run, then once Endomondo sends the run to Fitbit, it will override the SmartTrack run.

Great! So I can take my Blaze with me and still know what my heart rate would be!
