My fitbit has been synching without issue since early December, the last time this SAME problem suddenly happened.
As of 10:39pm last night, Fitbit stopped updating my calorie adjustment with MyFitnessPal.
I noticed it this morning, so I unlinked my accounts and revoked access on the Fitbit side, which I have done in the past MANY times to try and fix this exact problem, which then magically starts working again after a few days.
This time, I unlinked at least 5 times, and then it suddenly synched. I got a fitbit calorie adjustment for today, and the food I had entered so far on MFP updated over on the Fitbit side.
After that, I input more food into MFP and it did NOT push over. I also noticed 1 1/2 hrs later that I had not received another fitbit calorie adjustment (which I should receive, I have negative calories enabled, and I have the ability to sync my fitbit via bluetooth all day long).
So I went through the whole process again, unlinking, relinking, logging out, logging back in, also tried a bunch of stuff on my phone (I'm using the web for both). Suddenly/finally, I got an "updated" calorie adjustment - but the problem is - it only updated the TIME of the adjustment as 12:29pm today, but the actual calorie adjustment is not correct. I've burned 879 calories so far according to Fitbit, but the newly "updated" adjustment is saying 675, obviously wrong.
As I said above, this isn't the first time this has happened. I have done NOTHING differently. The only "solution" we are ever given is to try unlink/relink, revoke access, etc, but that is NOT a solution, CLEARLY as this continues to happen every few months. I refuse to unlink my accounts anymore.
We need a permanent solution to this problem, and I'd appreciate some kind of explanation as to WHY this continues to happen, over and over and over again. I've had my fitbit for less than a year and I've experienced this AT LEAST 6 times so far. That is just unacceptable. I am using Fitbit and MFP to track my calories and that is virtually impossible if Fitbit cannot be relied upon to give me an ACCURATE calorie adjustment.
Since this has happened so many times, Fitbit support HAS to know what is causing it, they're just not telling us, and apparently don't care about permanently fixing it. As you can tell, I'm extremely frustrated with this, and I'd appreciate some kind of update - if this is being "looked into", you should post an update/notice here on these boards to let people know.

I also wanted to note, my concern isn't really with the food pushing over from MFP to Fitbit because that is irrelevant. I keep my food diary on MFP. But getting an ACCURATE and UP TO DATE calorie adjustment pushed over to MFP from Fitbit IS VERY IMPORTANT.
There is a thread over on MFP about this - it is happening to a lot of people, which seems to have started yesterday. They are blaming it on the holidays because everybody is setting up their new fitbits and it is crashing the servers. But I'm sorry, even if that is true, it should've been planned for. We shouldn't have to suffer because Fitbit can't handle all the new users.
Here is the thread over on MFP if anybody would like to post there also:

Glad to know its not just me yesterday and today. I've been going crazy trying to get them to sync!

Now, I've completely stopped getting a calorie adjustment at all. In an attempt to force an adjustment again, since its not doing it automatically, I unlinked the accounts & relinked. It then once again updated the TIME on the calorie adjustment but did not update the calorie amount (I've burned 1100 but the adjustment only shows 845). It is almost like the adjustment is a few hours behind calorie wise.
So I removed the adjustment, unlinked/relinked again and now I'm not getting any adjustment AT ALL.
Extremely frustrating and annoying.

I believe the issue is over at MFP. My steps over at MFP updated almost immediately so that shows the data does get pushed from Fitbit to MFP as soon as you sync your tracker. I logged my water intake over at MFP 5 minutes ago and it still has not shown up on my dashboard. It usually does almost immediately. Unlinking and re-linking the accoounts usually forces MFP to push data over, but that is not always true if MFP is having other issues.

Could be. My steps finally updated on MFP, but the food entered on MFP is still not correct on my dashboard. The steps are more important so I see the calorie adjustment. In any event, its still annoying.
