I had to connect my fitbit device to a steps challenge for a third party company which took me to a Fitbit login web browser. When trying to log into my account, I was getting an error that my username or password was incorrect. I decided after several attempts to just try and reset my password. There is a "forgot password" button on the Fitbit login page. It asks for email so it can send a password reset email. I sent it multiple times, checked junk mail and everything but I never received an email in a 24-hour period or thereafter. I decided to ask for help, however, even this was difficult since in order to speak with a live chat agent or request a call you must already be signed in. I had to call in and wait in order to resolve this issue. It seemed like a very simple issue once I spoke with someone. This issue is something that I hope Fitbit can more thoroughly explain in the future.
Solution:
Fitbit has done away with the Fitbit browser login. It has merged with Google, so when it asks for your email and password, it is asking for your Google information. You may also click a link that says "continue with Google" to login to Fitbit. This worked.
The downside is there is no instruction for this, and Fitbit claims to send password reset emails that are not actually sending.
I hope this information helps those struggling with the same issue!
Thanks!

Hi there @MoMo89!
A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience about the password change and for all your efforts. I'm sorry for all the inconveniences this might have caused and am very glad that you could change the password.
And you are right if you've already migrated your account to Google you won't receive the "Forgot your password?" email.
If you want to learn how to change or reset your Google Account password, see the Google Accounts help article.
