Notification from "Mi Home" app not pushed to Versa Lite

Hi. 

 

I am using the latest Fitbit Android app and Fitbit Versa Lite Version 38.33.1.30.

 

The notification feature is working fine for all other app that I used except the "Mi Home" app.

Please advice what could go wrong?

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that you're not receiving notifications on your Fitbit Versa Lite from "Mi Home" app. Thank you for providing a link and for letting me know that the notification feature is working fine for all other apps. I recommend confirming the steps and settings from this help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? You can skip the part for the iOS devices since you have an Android device. 

I also recommend confirming if your device is updated to the latest firmware version. These updates provide feature enhancements and product improvements, so we recommend that you keep your device updated. You can find more information in this post

@LiliyaFitbit, Thank you for your reply and I have done all the steps that mentioned in  How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? and updated my device to the latest firmware 38.68.9.15.

 

However, I still face the problem of not getting notification pushed for "Mi Home" app.


I will be much appreciate if you could test run the app and find a solution for it.

Hi any development on this? 

Ive recently purchased a Versa 2 and have already updated to the latest software. 

 

The Mi Home notifications do not get pushed to the watch. Its integral as my whole home security relies on my Mi Home app. Please help.

@Fairuz4114 A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you're using a Versa 2 with the Mi Home app. 

I would like you to confirm that you've done this procedure to set your notifications on your watch. Also, you may want to double check the app settings, this could be the reason why it's not sending notifications to your watch but they show on your phone.

I have also upgraded to Versa 2 and I have done all the procedure which you posted up there but the notification still not shown.

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. If Mi Home app is the only one that isn't sending notifications to your Versa 2, you may to contact them directly for more information about it. There might be some privacy limitation and that's why it's not sending notifications to your watch.

We ve done all as per the given directions.

It still is'nt working. Funny how it works fine on my Apple Watch Series 1..Think it's been nearly 1 year since  the 1st request was made..hope yall try to do something. It 's not the Mi Home app. It is the Fitbit software.

Dear @SilviaFitbit ,

 

Is it exactly like what @Fairuz4114 mentioned. 

Before switching to Versa Lite, I was using Amazfit Stratos with the same android phone and the notification did get pushed to the Amazfit Stratos. 

It's only the Versa Lite & Versa 2, or I should say the Fitbit app didn't capture the notification from MiHome app and push to our watches.

 

We would be much appreciated if you could test and resolve this issue.
