Persistent Issue: Withings Scale Data (via Health Connect) Not Showing on Today Tab

Hi all,

I'm running into a frustrating syncing issue with my Withings Body Scan scale and the Fitbit app, and I'm hoping someone has found a solution.

My Withings scale correctly uploads my weight and other body metrics (like body fat percentage) to Health Connect. All of this data is visible and correctly written within the Health Connect app.

The Fitbit app is connected to Health Connect and has all the necessary permissions to read this data. I can see the data populate under the dedicated "Health Connect" tile within the "You" tab of the Fitbit app. This confirms that the data is successfully being read by Fitbit.

The core problem is that despite having the permissions enabled to "include this information on the 'Today' tab," the weight and other metrics do not show up on the main daily dashboard.

  • Cleared the cache and data for the Fitbit app.
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app.
  • Manually triggered a sync from both Health Connect and by pulling down on the Fitbit "Today" tab.

I've done a lot of searching on these boards and see that many others have experienced this same issue with no clear resolution. It appears to be a specific bug with how Fitbit processes and displays Health Connect data.

Is there any known workaround for this problem, or a specific setting I might have missed? Has anyone had success getting this to work consistently?
