One of the reasons that I purchased a FitBit was because it would sync with Sparkpeople. I understand FB syncs activity to Sparkpeople and Sparkpeople syncs food to FB but not the other way around. My FB activity shows up in Sparkpeople but my food log from Sparkpeople does not show up in FB. Very disappointing. I also had hoped that Fitbit calculated heart rate (that's why we wear it on our wrist isn't it) yet I have to pay for premium to get that feature?! With my trusty pedometer I had to figure out my gait to set up the meter, I have no idea where or how FB figures out those things. Doesn't appear to be too accurate without those setup controls. I purchased FB to save time logging stuff and because of the tracking sleep feature. So far I'm spending more time troubleshooting sitting at the computer than being active. I give it a week before taking it back to BestBuy.

None of the Fitbit trackers record heart rate. You have to manually log that if you have another device that can track that. As to food, meal summary info will flow through, but not actual foods.
