Seems like there is a problem at the myfitnesspal side. See this thread for more details:

If the MFP problem is just yesterday and today, they had a melt down last night and the link tp Fitbit is not up and running. Contact them if it continues.

Thanks for this link! The issue was really starting to bug me, but now at least I know it's just a matter of time before it gets fixed. The issue started yesterday and still hasn't gotten fixed but...hopefully soon.

My Fitbit is always connected to my fitness pal, every now and then it disconnects and doesn’t do the calorie adjustment. I usually disconnect them both and reconnect them but this isn’t working. What should I do?

Hello,

Sorry for any recent issues with accessing the food database or syncing. We had a service outage overnight which affected our site and app as well as syncing with our integration partners. While the MyFitnessPal website and app are back up, the fitbit integration is still down. We will do what we can to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We will continue to update this article as more information becomes available. Please check back for further updates.

Best,

Hi

Can anyone provide any more advice? I have unsynced the accounts, logged in and out etc It shows the Fitbit but does not show my steps.

Thanks

Searched around to see if this was a bug but did not get any synch either way between the 2 applications yesterday. I unlinked Fitbit this morning from MFP and relinked. Is there an issue with the sites talking to each other? Both appear to be working normally and I could not find any other topics.

thanks!

I’ve been having the same problem since yesterday.

Have tried all preliminary steps- multiple times, to no avail.

As the problem only starting yesterday morning, I am hoping it is a back end issue with MFP which will be resolved shortly. Hoping.
