4/7 Update: This should now be resolved, and Facebook integration should now be working normally. If you are still having trouble, please consult this help article for tips on connecting with your Facebook friends. Thanks everyone for your patience while we worked to correct this issue!
4/6 Update: We have a fix in place which will resolve this issue, and it is being prepared to roll out into production. I'll post again once that happens, but it shouldn't be long!
We are aware of an issue preventing Fitbit users from linking with their Facebook accounts, and producing the following error. This may also prevent users from searching for friends via Facebook if their accounts are already linked.
Our team is currently investigating this issue, and we're working to return this functionality to normal behavior. If you see this error, please note that there is nothing wrong with your tracker itself. We'll post another update here as soon as we have news regarding a resolution.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience!

I cannot connect either... help!
When I click on connect Facebook, this pops out:
"Unable to link your Facebook and Fitbit accounts together. Please try again later."
I've tried again later... how much later?!

Considering that the post was marked solved last October, this thread was not about a problem that

Fitbit has stated that they are aware and are working on this.
Now since this is affecting every Fitbit user, starting I have this problem to is being redundant.

My Charge HR used to be connected to fitbit by now it won't connect. I can't add any new friends from Facebook and we are trying to start a challenge. I have tried to reset it and log on from my online profile but nothing is working. I saw posts since October 2015 but the two solutions don't work. Any ideas on something else to try? It Fitbit going to fix this problem?

I bought my daughter a Zip so we could compete with daily steps. She sent me a friend request by email which I accepted. But she doesn't show up on my Friend list, and I don't show up on hers. However, when I tried to send her a friend request, I got a message saying we are already Friends! I have checked both our accounts in, and we both have "Show Me" checked in the Friends section of the Settings. I thought it might help if we both connected to Facebook, but each time I try to do this (in either of our accounts), I get a message "Cannot connect to Facebook at this time. Please try later." She has a Zip and uses the iOS app, I have a Charge HR and use the Andriod app, but I have tried to fix things using the website on my laptop as well for both of us. Can anyone help?
Update - This message seems to have been moved to the Facebook thread, but the invitation from my daughter was by email, not Facebook. However, we are Facebook friends as well, so perhaps the problems are connected. Also: this morning my daughter can see me as a Friend, but I still can't see her. I suppose we will just have to wait until the Facebook issue is resolved.
