Hello,
I connected my Fitbit and Strava accounts.
I go for a walk every day, same watch, same exercise (walk), same phone (Samsung S7), same start/stop buttons, same everything. Phone Bluetooth and location services (GPS) are always on. Then why sometimes Strava gets synced and I see my walk path, heart rate and everything on the Strava app, and sometimes it doesn't recognize the activity at all?
Versa version: 32.70.7.14
Strava version: 144.12 (1212868)
Thank you.

Hello @FabianG your title seems to be asking about the Strava app on your Versa.
Your post seems to be about syncing between your Fitbit Account and your Strava account.
Do all your walks get recorded by Fitbit with gps andyou get the expected map in the walk report?
Only GPS recorded exercises will be sent to Strava.

Just noticed that Fitbit has not always been recording GPS data, but only
VERY rarely. I do have my GPS on in my phone, and I haven't changed
anything in my watch settings for a long time. The last time I got the map
on the Fitbit recorded Activities was April 2, and I haven't changed
anything on my phone or watch or Fitbit app since then.
Good catch. It seems the problem is with the GPS data.

After talking with customer support, it became clear:
- The random recording of GPS (map) data is because the Versa watch depends on its connection with the mobile phone GPS to record the data.
- The Bluetooth connection between the watch and the phone is not robust. It needs you to be far from any other Bluetooth device, which nowadays means you can hardly find a place at home where this is true.
- I was only able to connect the watch to the phone once I'm outdoors, and this only if I turn off and do not use my Bluetooth headphones (which I bought ONLY to use during my walks or rides... 😞 ).
- Now I can record the GPS data, but cannot listen to music.
- I am very frustrated. Did not expect the connection (and syncing) would be that problematic.

You should be able to listen to music, try turning on headphones after the gps has connected
