The last 12 hours there has been no sync for multiple users from their renpho scales to the fitbit app.
sync last worked yesterday for the same users.
I have tried revoking and re-establishing access to fitbit from Renpho on my iPhone which works, but nothing syncs.
More users with the same issues?

I reported this on Reddit (in r/fitbit), and it's been true of more than one person with more than one brand of 3rd-party scale. So far 3 RENPHO (including me) and one Vesync scale user are having the problem. The scale synced with Fitbit on May 19, but failed for all of us yesterday, May 20 as well as today. That appears to narrow it down to being Fitbit's problem. I'm on Android, and app version is 4.42.2.fitbit-mobile- (I have to split this up because it's not alllowing part of the message body) 110285729- 757744816 .
I see Fitbit released 4.43 yesterday but it's not showing in the Android Google Play store. Dunno if it would help, though the current version shows it was released back on May 12.

I don't have a renpho but i do have a FitIndex scale and from what i can tell they are owned by the same company.
Since my scale also stopped syncing, I gave FitIndex a call. The very nice woman on the phone explained that since FitBit has their own line of scales, they have very recently discontinued the ability for any third party companies to sync scale data to FitBit.
I haven't yet reached out to fitbit to confirm if this is true, but if it is, how absolutely disgusting of them. If true, it will absolutely have me looking for alternatives. If they hate their customers that bad, then why should i continue to pay them a subscription, right?
edit: I called fitbit and they confirmed this is true

Same here, renpho scale syncing to fitbit syncing to garmin for the past 3 years without any issues until May 19 this week.
Looks like I'll be purchasing a garmin scale if this isnt fixed short term (which seems to be the case based on one of the response).

My Renpho scale stopped syncing as well, been using it without issue for almost 4 years till now. I tried connecting the scale Google Fit and got an error there saying Renpho is blocked by Google, but then I had no trouble disconnecting and reconnecting to my FitBit app so unsure what's going on there...

Wait. What? Fitbit (google) has confirmed that they discontinued API support for thirdparty scale synchronization because they have their own line of scales?
I bought a renpho scale since my fitbit aria 2 scale sync stopped working and Fitbit was going to discontinue making scales after the aria air?
Im not really sure what to believe at this moment

Convinced that the people at Google responsible for Fitbit wake up each morning and ask themselves how they can make the experience worse for Fitbit users in new, creative ways.
