Running for Weightloss App

Hello All,

I just recently downloaded the app "Running for Weightloss".  I've used it 2x already and am in love with it.  The only problem I have with it, is it's not syncing my steps correctely.  When I was done with my run and got to my desk to work this morning, I had a little under 7000 steps.  Once my fitbit re-synced, it dropped to about 2500 steps!  The "Running for weightloss" still says that I have 4200 steps?  I'm really confused and would love for this to work correctly.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome to the Community @xxnicole0312xx! I noticed that this has been posted a couple of months ago, so I'd like to know if you are still having this inconvenience. If you do, I recommend unlink and link the Fitbit and Running for Weightloss again.

I'm not sure if she's still having the issues - but the same thing is happening to me.  My steps are lost, but my active minutes and heart rate are still fine.  I unsynced and resynced - but my fitbit itself says my steps are way lower than what they should be (6000 vs 2000) as I was near 6000 when I ended my run.  Once it synced, all my steps were gone :(.

If I delete the activity log, will the steps come back?  I recorded it as a workout on my fitbit as well as through the running app - maybe that's why?

Any help on this would be great.

It's nice to see around @brandylearl! If you entered your tracker in activity mode, there's no need to manually log the activity since this will override all the information that your tracker obtains. You can delete the activity record that you manually logged and this will back those steps. You can learn more about manually logging activity here.

I hope this helps. Let me know the outcome.
