Sharing heart rate data with Vitality UK health insurance

I recently bought a Fitbit Charge HR, specifically to link with my Vitality UK health insurance, as they reward workouts where heart rate is increased. However I've discovered that only step count data is registered with Vitality, not heart rate data, apparently because Fitbit doesn't share this heart rate data with Vitality.

Are there any plans to start sharing heart rate data with Vitality UK health insurers, and if so when? Please can this happen soon, as otherwise I will have spent a lot of money getting a heart rate sensor which I can't now get the benefit from!

The Fitbit open API that 3rd party developers use does not yet include the heart rate and GPS data, but a new API is currently being worked on. No date has been given. The last update on it was 1/28 with the advice "in the coming months". Also note, just because Fitbit includes data in the API does not mean that all 3rd party developers use all of the data available.

I'm just try to call  "curl https://api.fitbit.com/1/user/-/activities/heart/date/today/1d/1min/11:50/12:00.json -H "Authorization: Bearer ..." "

but the response not included any heart-rate data. Is that means the hear-rate API is still not ready for third-part API?
