I'm having problems with the way my FitBit exercise is syncing to SparkPeople.
I don't have a FitBit (yet), I'm just using the app on my iPhone.
I log walks using the FitBit app. I logged a walk yesterday, and on Monday I did not.
Monday's exercise sync from FitBit shows 2 entries, and yesterday's shows 1. I would expect it to either be the other way round (1 entry for each exercise logged + 1 entry for anything above my basal metabolic rate), or to always be 1 entry with everything bundled together.
Question 1: Why is this happening, and how do I correct it?
My second issue is with the fitness minutes logged. I would expect FB to acknowledge my 2-mile walk, which took 60 minutes, generated 60 minutes of fitness. But it doesn't. The FitBit app doesn't show me fitness minutes, so I can't see what number it's generated for yesterday, but on SparkPeople it's logging as 15.
Question 2: How does FitBit calculate fitness minutes, and how can I configure it to recognise that a 60 minute walk is 60 minutes of fitness?
Attached is a screenshot demonstrating what I mean.
Thank you in advance for any help with these issues.

@Arlandria I'm sorry for the delayed response to this post. Thanks for providing some screenshots to let us know what's going on with both accounts. I'd like to help you with this trouble so I'm going to split my response to answer your questions:
1) After doing some research, I couldn't find a similar issue reported. Have you tried unlinking and relinking both your Fitbit account and your SparkPeople account? To do so, please follow these steps:
- Go to your Fitbit.com Dashboard, click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on "Applications" on the left side of your screen, and then click on "Revoke Access".
- Once you've done the above, please go to http://www.sparkpeople.com/.
Question 2: Fitbit Active Minutes earned don't sync with your SparkPeople account. For more information on how SparkPeople calculates fitness minutes, I recommend reaching out to their Support Team directly. For more information on Fitbit active minutes, please visit our help article.
Regarding your question about the minutes, you can manually log both step-based and non step-based activities in your Fitbit account.
Let me know if you have any questions. Nice to see you around the forums!
