Stepcount in workouts tracked by endomondo

Hi! I'm using fitbit to track my activities and endomondo to track my workouts. My problem is that there is no step info in workouts that endomondo sends to fitbit and there are all the steps in separate workout in endomondo app, that fitbit sends them there. Is there a way that fitbit would atribute the steps made in the time of the workout to that workout as it does with the heart rate data?

Hi

I haven't tried Endomondo yet but I'm using both the Fitbit App and the MapMyWalk Apps and are both good for the walking that I'm tracking daily (6kms).

Just delete the workout that Fitbit records (or turn off the auto recognized exercise in Fitbit).  You won't lose any steps, and the Endomondo exercise should send distance, etc. Then when you click on the Endomondo workout imported into Fitbit, you should see all the info for the exercise. I've been doing this with Runkeeper by way of MyFitnessPal but am going to give Endomondo a try next time I work out.  (Would love to get rid of MyFitnessPal!)  🙂
