I found this while trying to fix my sync issue. The solution works IF you use a computer browser. I logged out of both apps on my device. I then went to the MFP website (using the browser on my laptop), chose app and clicked on my installed device. I then chose disconnect. I then logged out of MFP and back on, again. Now I could reconnect the two apps. I opened Fitbit first and then MFP. I don't know if all the restarts are needed but disconnect through a browser, not your apps. It synced immediately after that.

Welcome to the forums @ahixs2012! I'm also a MFP user and I'll be glad to help on this
At the time you link your MFP account and your Fitbit; you can check your Fitbit information on MFP in the Reports Page, such as sleep, steps and body fat %.
However; if you want to check your daily caloric budget, this information will be available on your Food Diary page at the bottom, showing the extra calories you've earned from your steps. It looks like this:
If you are not seeing this information on your Diary page, we'll need to relink your MFP-> Fitbit accounts like this:
- Go to your Apps page and search at the middle right of the page for the apps you currently have linked.
- Select Fitbit tracker
- Click on Disconnect
- Log out of Fitbit and MFP.
- Log back in
- Log into MyFitnessPal and click Apps.
- In the App Gallery, find Fitbit and click Connect.
- Click Allow to give MyFitnessPal access to your Fitbit data.
- Follow the instructions provided.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions

I too have had problems with Fitbit steps (and converted calories) not showing on my MyFitnessPal diary since Wednesday 20 July 2016. I have done everything I can find recommended, including delinking and relinking, rebooting phone ipad and apps, bluetooth off and back on again. Have checked all settings. Have reported problem to MyFitnessPal (whose status page seems to think problem has been resolved - NOT!). Please address.

I've been having the same issue as busygirl, but only noticed it since Saturday (July 23rd). Yesterday and on Sunday I was able to get my calorie burn updated in MFP by de-linking and re-linking the two apps but even that doesn't work now.

A warm welcome to the Community @busygirl and @RobRock. If your account are not syncing, I recommend following these steps.
I recommend re-linking the two accounts by doing the following:
1. Sign into your Fitbit dashboard.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. On the left side of your screen click "Applications."
4. Under MyFitnessPal, click "Revoke Access."
5. You can then re-link the two accounts by going to http://www.fitbit.com/apps/myfitnesspal.
After relinking, you can verify that your accounts are syncing by using one of the following data points:
1. On Fitbit you can check for your meal summary and logged activities from MFP.
2. On MyFitnessPal, go to "My Home," then "Check-In." You should see your weight, Fitbit Steps, and Fitbit Sleep Minutes.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Hi Alejandra,
It appears there was an issue (either with MFP or Fitbit) at the time. Some more online searching told me there was a ticket opened that was later resolved. I've had no problems since.
Thanks,
Robert

I've tried both steps in this thread to fix the issue. My food is syncing but not my steps or my water.

issue and went back to manually entering my exercise on my MFP daily diary,
though I'd naively imagined it might have been fixed by now. It's
infuriating because to me the main selling point of the Fitbit was being
able to sync with MFP. Not good enough is it?

I can see my steps on the MFP website under the reports page but it is not syncing to the MFP app. It still reads 0 Fitbit tracker steps. What should I do to fix this?

@keanna @busygirl Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I've seen this issue before and it has been resolved for some users. I recommend revoking the access from MFP on the Fitbit dashboard and then linking both back again (check @SunsetRunner's post). That should certainly help.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!

I'd love to know if anyone has found an answer for this. I have linked and relinked several times today. Both FITBIT Tracker and the STEPS setting. At this point the databases really are syncing b/c the steps are updated in the "Progress"/"Check-In" sections. However the fitbit steps are not showing up in the diary at all and there is no calorie adjustment. It says "0 steps". This is the irst time I've had a huge problem with steps syncing since I sarted using them (i.e. about 10 months ago)
I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help.
Thank you!
PS This started when I deleted the fitbit daily steps as seen in the examples I pasted below. I have tried all these steps, multiple times. I also restarted the tracker.

I did eventually come to understand that the issue was with My Fitness Pal, not Fitbit.
For months I kept the two apps unlinked and entered steps and calories to MFP manually, but recently relinked and it seems now that the crossover of steps and calories works better with my Fitbit Charge HR than with my Fitbit One.
All rather frustrating.

Thanks busygirl.
I hate to ask this but how did you enter the steps and calories in MFP - did you put all steps in as a walk and customize the calories? I am so accustomed to entering all activities on fitbit.
The biggest problem is that (as I mentioned already) - the steps are syncing to the MFP database so I don't want to corrupt that. However, my diary saying "0 steps" and "+ 0" for calorie adjustment really messes things up as my account is set at a baseline of sedentary/minimal calories.

How do you enter your steps manually? Can't get this to work either. 😞

The Fitbit App is not syncing with MFP. Coincidentally I started having problems when the new look dashboard was introduced.I dont know if this is a known issue.
Ive tried unlinking and unlinking the accounts but still no luck. Any ideas?

I've read til my eyes glaze over the very complicated explanation for how
Fitbit steps get converted to extra calories on MFP, and I still don't
understand but if they are justifying circumstances in which upwards of
9,000 steps can actually result in zero extra calories then I don't like it.
So I've severed the link between the two and will use them independently of
each other, entering exercise manually on MFP when it suits me to do so
(apparently the timing of entries makes a difference!) - I was successful at
losing weight with MFP in 2015 entering exercise manually so that works for
me.
Am just very disappointed that Fitbit seem to make it all so ruddy
complicated.
