Strava cadence and other metrics

Hello Fitbit Team,

I’m writing to request an enhancement to the existing Strava integration for the Pixel Watch 4.

Currently, the Pixel Watch 4 accurately tracks cadence during runs, and I can view this data (including a cadence graph) in the Fitbit app alongside other metrics such as stride length. However, this cadence data is not included when workouts are exported to Strava. As a result, runs recorded on Fitbit and shared with Strava lack cadence information, even though the watch clearly captures it.

Requested enhancement:

  • Include cadence in the data that is passed from Fitbit to Strava after a run.
  • Where technically possible, extend this to other tracked metrics that Strava supports (for example, stride length, vertical oscillation, etc.).

Benefit:

This would provide a more complete representation of my run performance on Strava without requiring third-party workarounds, and would improve the overall value of Fitbit’s Strava integration for runners who rely on deeper performance analytics.

Thank you for considering this request. I believe this improvement would be valuable to many users who use both Fitbit and Strava as part of their training workflow.

Thanks!

Thanks @LZeeW - I didn't realise that the "Third-Party Integrations" forum wasn't monitored by Fitbit. Seeing as this is all the same "site" (community.fitbit.com) maybe it should be made clearer that only the "Product Feedback" should be used for feature requests.

I'll copy my request to that forum.
