Strava runs stopped syncing to Fitbit...again

I ran on Tuesday Dec 1 and again on Wednesday Dec 2. Both runs showed up in Fitbit via the new auto-detect feature, but the fitbit activity has not updated with the distance from Strava. The last time this sync of distance from strava to fitbit successfully happened was on Sunday November 29. The run on 12/1 was recorded as two separate entries on strava - both captured using the strava app on iphone w/ GPS. The run on 12/2 has two separate strava entires - one recorded using the strava app and the other a manual entry. (I forgot to start recording using the app for the first 0.5 miles, so I entered it manually to Strava.) I did both runs in Europe --- it's been 11 hours since the run on Dec 2 and 38 hours since the run on Dec 1. The successful syncs in November were usually happening within a few minutes. Eager to avoid another month-long outage of this feature.

Last successful update to Strava was on Thursday 29th, I've ran on 1st December and this evening 2nd December. both runs have not updated to Strava?  Is this a global problem?  Can i manually update Strava? Will this auto update when resolved?   wow!  its now updated!

Is strava syncing working for anyone else? I've had seven runs now logged in strava that have failed to sync. Last successful sync was on Sunday November 29.
