Sync with my fitness pal issue

I have my fitbit and my fitness pal linked and they work together just fine through the websites. However, the apps won't sync. I'd rather not have to get on a desktop every time I want to check on things. Do you know what the problem could be?

Allow me to help you @missyharding There were some issues with Fitbit and MyFitnessPal integration and both apps weren't syncing properly. I would like you to unlink and relink both accounts.

I'm am having trouble syncing my MFP with my Fitbit Charger HR.  I've tried linking the two with my mobile phone,  Galaxy 4, and that always fails me.  

Is there any way I can link the two with from a desktop?
