Syncing Alta Fitbit activity with MapMyRun

Hello,

I have an Alta and I recently signed up for MapMyRun.  MapMyRun and the Fitbit website say I have successfully linked the two, but nothing is showing up on MapMyRun.  I was given the impression that map my run would show the steps and calories I've taken according to my Fitbit for the past two months.  I'm not seeing that.  Any suggestions?

Hello @JeanetteFB, its nice to have Community members around, let me give you a warm welcome!

When you connect MapMyRun, only one month of Fitbit Data will sync over and the information will be updated each time Fitbit syncs. The information will sync only from Fitbit to MapMyRun, Although MapMyRun activity doesn't sync to Fitbit. For more details please take a look a this post.

If your information is not shared on your MapMyRun account, revoke the access from your application settings on your Fitbit account. Once you have done this try to connect your accounts again from http://www.mapmyrun.com/

Hope this provides the information you need. Let me know how it goes!

Thank you Roberto Fitbit for your suggestions.  I had tried doing that before your post because I had seen that suggestion somewhere else.  I tried one more time and it still doesn't look like any data is importing to MapMyRun.  Am I missing where it is importing to?  I assumed it would show on the monthly calendar under "workouts".  I also clicked on 24/7 fitness to see if my steps show up, I do not see them.

Hello @JeanetteFB thank you for the update and I'm sorry for not being around. Note that not all the information is imported to MapMyRun from Fitbit. MapMyFitness uses built-in GPS to provide runners with the ability to map, record, and share their exercise routes and workout.

If the issue still persists, have you try to manually import your information from MapMyRun?

Go to "My Workouts" and select "Import Workout" After you have done this, in the calendar you should be able to see as you mentioned before, the word 24/7 although if the exercise do not include any compatible data, it wont display the information in MapMyRun.

See you around and let me know if you have more questions.
