Syncing calories with MyfitnessPal (MFP)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have synced my fitbit account with myfitnesspal but the calories I log don't appear on the fitbit app.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting but nothing changes.

Are there any settings I should know about?

Hi @hannaLou, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Once you have connected both of your account your food logs should be share with your Fitbit account.

However when you log calories on MyFitnessPal, this will appear on your Fitbit app as breakfast Summary or lunch Summary depending the time you selected on MFP. It wont show the food breakdown as it happen with your Fitbit app.

As an additional note, make sure your tracker is connected with MFP. You can review this by going to your MFP account, under Apps option, select Steps. Here you need to select the Fitbit tracker as a tracking device. With this you will be sure both of your account are sharing information.

Hope this information helps. See you around!

I've had the same problem. My steps are syncing from my Fitbit to MFP but my food isn't syncing the other way. Any suggestions?

Hi there @LadyWitch, I wonder how it goes the food syncing between MFP and Fitbit? As I can understand your Food entries from MFP are not syncing to Fitbit.

So if the issue persist, I recommend to relink MFP with Fitbit. For more help about the steps of this process take a look at this post I shared before.

Hope it helps and see you around!

Hi @LadyWitch. thank you for keep me posted. I'm glad to see you were able to resolved this issue. With third party integrations the best to do is to reset the connection between the accounts as you did.

Don't forget to visit the Fitbit Community again. Stay awesome!
