Syncing issue between Fitbit and My Fitness Pal

On January 19th my Fitbit App stopped syncing with my My Fitness Pal  (MFP) App during the middle of the day. I have uninstalled both Apps, restarted my phone and reinstalled them. Still not syncing with MFP. I re-paired my Fitbit to my phone. Still not Syncing with MFP. Went online to Fitbit and MFP to disconnect and reconnect the Apps. Still not syncing with MFP. My android phones last update was in December 2016. Online my Fitbit account states there are no devices paired with the account but my Charge HR is syncing with my HTC 10 with out issue. I am at a loss on how to fix this problem. Please help.

Hello @Mimi75, good to see you have joined to our Fitbit Community. Certainly sounds odd this issue you are experiencing. However I might have a theory of what is going on. I reviewed your Community profile page and I found there is no device paired to the email address you used to visit us. 

 

My recommendation is to make sure you are using the same email address on your phone as in your online-Dashboard. Is possible that you are seeing you don't have a device paired with your online Dashboard in comparison to your mobile phone, because the email addresses are different, causing that your MFP is no syncing your Fitbit account, since there is not tracker paired whit this account.

 

How can you find if this is true? Easy, go to your Fitbit app and use the same email address you used on your online-Dashboard and log in. If my theory is correct you should be able to see there that you don't have a tracker paired within the Fitbit app.

I checked my email on MFP and Fitbit and they are the same. The part that has me confused it that I have been connected since July 2016. Then on Jan 19th, 2017 my steps synced in the afternoon but did not sync later that evening. And nothing had changed during the day that I can pinpoint.

I'm having the same issue. Seems mine stopped the 27th or 28th? I disconnected the apps online first on MFP then revoked access on Fitbit. Reconnected them and now it appears it synced my calories from yesterday but not anything in between. And my exercise is still missing?

I have the same issue as well.   Fitbit and MyFitness Pal are not syncing.   I have done all of the trouble shooting steps.

Did you ever solve this issue?  I noticed from last week that my exercise minutues didn't update on my Fitbit from myfitnesspal.

No. I ended up deleting the missing days and re-entering them in MFP for it to show up on Fitbit.
