Syncing with 3rd party apps

I use MyFitnessPal.com for tracking my food and intermittent fasting and have had syncing issues since late August. I put in for a help ticket with MFP and was told the issue was on Fitbit's end... that some users are reporting syncing issues with 3rd party apps since 8/30/2024. I keep checking the Fitbit Status Dashboard but the issue is still there. I'll have 3k+ steps on my Fitbit but only get credit for 1569 steps on MFP due to this syncing issue. When will this issue be resolved?!?

The issue is supposed to be fixed based on the fitbit status page but it is not fixed for me:https://status.fitbit.com/incidents/D6j3uhKPGKKsJjNoxsp7

I'm now syncing as of  overnight. Still had discrepancies during the day (MFP would be 500 or more steps less than my Fitbit) but this morning they match perfectly. Let's hope it stays this way!
