Syncing with My Fitness Pal?

Hi! I'm a newbie Fitbit (Charge HR!) owner, so I apologize in advance if this is a repeat question!

How do I manually set my daily calorie limit on the Fitbit? I have my daily calorie limit set in MFP, but after syncing, I noticed that the Fitbit calorie projection overrides it. I'd like it to be the number I use in MFP, so I was hoping to figure out how to set it here.

Also, I see that the calorie limits change? This is confusing for me 🙂

Thanks!

@jessiW3 Hey there! The amount of calories that you're allow to eat is based in how active you're during the day. However, when you set your own calorie target, it won't allow you to eat more or less based in your activity because you'll set your own calorie target. Please follow this procedure to set your own calorie target:

- Go to your Dashboard

- Hover the mouse over any calorie tile > click on see more

- You'll see Food > click on Food Plan

- There you'll see "Set your own calorie target"

- Click there and enter the amount of calories that you're going to eat
